ENGINEER AND CONTRACTOR ADR
Mr. Sheldon has experience with problems that arise in the planning, construction and use of various structures and remedial measures. He can assist parties to find acceptable means of adjustment or resolution of disputes that can arise from apparent failures or inadequacies for both engineers’ and contractors’ work.
Although he is not an engineer by training, his professional experience has required him to understand concepts of good engineering practice ranging from preliminary evaluation to supervision and esecution of plans and specifications. Often, mediation can be an ideal means of adjustment of issues between or among engineers, contractors and property owners, because it allows the parties to seek means of satisfaction that are in line with their respective business and professional interests as compared to the limited relief forms available in a judicial court.
